Simple Sourdough Bread Recipe

This classic sourdough bread recipe is perfect for beginners! With just a few simple ingredients and your active sourdough starter, you'll have a beautiful artisan loaf with a crispy crust and soft, tangy interior.

Ingredients:

  • 500g bread flour
  • 350g water
  • 100g active sourdough starter
  • 10g salt

Instructions:

  1. Mix flour and water, let rest 30 minutes
  2. Add starter and salt, mix well
  3. Bulk ferment 4-6 hours with stretch and folds
  4. Shape and cold proof overnight
  5. Bake at 450°F for 45 minutes
